NH Elder Law and Estate Planning

Fees

I generally do not charge on an hourly basis.   After an initial consultation I will usually be able to tell my clients what my fees will be for the work to be done.  Everyone's situation is different.  The fees below represent what I have recently charged clients of modest means on average.

  • Medicaid consultation:  $200 (No document preparation)
  • Estate plan including:  will, financial power of attorney, health care power of attorney, and  living will:  $200 (single) $300 (couple)
  • Estate plan including: revocable (living) trust, will, financial power of attorney, health care power of attorney,  living will, deed if necessary and assistance with transfer of assets*: $1,000 (single)  $1,500 (couple)
  • Estate plan review and preparation of amendment to will (codicil), financial power of attorney, health care power of attorney, and/or living will:  $150 - $250

*Other fees to third parties associated with transferring assets to a trust may be required.  These might include registry recording fees, brokerage account fees, etc.
